Kevin Mesyef is the Principal and Regional Operations Manager for Engineering Systems Inc. (ESi)'s New Jersey office and Northeast operations. Kevin has more than 16 years of experience helping clients navigate complex construction, property, and engineering challenges involving commercial, industrial, and residential assets. Kevin specializes in forensic engineering investigations, property condition assessments, structural evaluations, construction defect investigations, building envelope and roofing assessments, and repair design for damaged or distressed structures. His broad technical expertise includes building codes, industry standards, structural design, project management, quality assurance and quality control, and the evaluation of existing building systems. Working with property owners, developers, investors, lenders, attorneys, insurers, and asset managers, Kevin helps stakeholders identify risks, understand existing conditions, evaluate potential liabilities, and develop practical, cost-effective solutions that protect investments and support informed decision-making. His experience spans the full lifecycle of a property, from due diligence and condition assessments to failure investigations, remediation planning, and dispute resolution. Kevin is frequently retained as an expert witness in litigation, arbitration, and insurance-related matters involving construction, structural failures, building performance issues, and property damage claims.
