Raymond J. Pavese  Ray Pavese has dedicated over 35 years to the insurance industry, primarily as a resident of New Jersey. Growing up in Edison, he graduated from JP Stevens High School before earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with minors in Economics and Finance, from Roger Williams University in 1986. Ray began his career at Prudential in Newport, RI, where he honed essential skills in a competitive environment while managing a debit book of business. This experience laid the foundation for a successful career in New Jersey’s insurance landscape. As a third-generation owner of Pavese-McCormick Agency, Ray has transformed the agency into one of New Jersey’s leading providers of quality property and casualty insurance products and solutions. He earned his “Accredited Advisor of Insurance” certification in 1992 and achieved the “Construction Risk Insurance Specialist” designation in 2009. In response to a changing marketplace, Ray founded Agency Network Exchange (ANE) in 2009, which supports agencies of all sizes by providing access to additional carriers and significantly increasing revenue. Under his leadership, ANE grew to become the 11th largest insurance network in the U.S. As of December 31, 2021, ANE is a wholly owned subsidiary of Renaissance Insurance Alliance (RAIS), which now encompasses over 400 hundred independent agencies across the country representing over $5.3 billion in premium. Ray currently holds a board seat on the Renaissance board, contributing to its status as the fifth largest network in the U.S. Outside of his professional achievements, Ray enjoys boating, skiing, golfing, cooking, and he cherishes spending time with family and friends. His commitment to advocacy, trust, and relationship-building extends beyond the workplace and into his personal life.
