Joe Langan brings over 38 years of experience in engineering, construction management, real estate development, brokerage, and asset/property management to the Catcord and NJCREA teams. As an industry veteran, he has managed development and investment deals from inception and entitlements to completion and lease up. He brings a wealth of experience in land use, design, construction and finance, and has a sound knowledge of the New Jersey multifamily market. Prior to joining Catcord, Mr. Langan served as principal and president of River Drive Construction in Elmwood Park, NJ, the development and management division for the founding partners of Langan Engineering. This division developed office projects in the 1980s to foster the rapid growth of their staff. He successfully built and managed hundreds of construction projects exceeding $300 million in aggregate value, ranging from commercial office to healthcare, science and technology, and multifamily and mixed-use projects. During his career, Mr. Langan has also co-promoted and co-developed over $100 million of commercial real estate Development Projects. Notable Development projects included River Driver Centers 1&3 (Spencer Savings Bank headquarters) and Riverwalk in Elmwood Park, a mixed-use office, retail and multifamily project valued at over $150 million as well as the 87-unit luxury apartment community known as Colonial Pointe in Franklin Lakes, NJ.
