Personal Bio

Mr. Alonso has over 20 years of design and project management experience. His project experience includes the design and project management of multi-discipline projects in various market sectors such as commercial, pharmaceutical, industrial, laboratories and higher education. He has significant experience in fire protection, plumbing, HVAC design and controls, as well as energy modeling and auditing for mechanical systems. Mr. Alonso serves as a client liaison and project manager and is responsible to deliver projects on-time and on-budget. As Vice President of Business Development, Mr. Alonso is responsible for developing new environmental and engineering business opportunities and creating customized solutions for Whitman’s clients, which include architects, developers, attorneys, manufacturers, schools and healthcare professionals. He holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.  He is a licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey, Maryland, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Illinois and Hawaii; a Certified Energy Manager; and a LEED Accredited Professional.
